Is it indeed in Copley Square and there is a T stop there? If so it might be worth posting to xpert that it will be possible/reasonable to attend the conference by flying in and never renting a car. It is indeed in Copley Square. You can certainly fly in, take the (free) shuttle bus to the Airport T station, pay 75 cents for a token, take the Blue line Inbound to the Government Center station, change to the Green line Westbound, and take any LRV ("trolley") to the Copley station. It's a fairly short walk from there to the hotel.

There is no reason to rent a car in Boston unless you want to drive somewhere out of the city during the conference. If you don't want to deal with the subway, take a cab from the airport to the hotel. The Marriot Copley Place also runs a shuttle to and from Logan Airport, $6.50 per person. (nearly an order of magnitude more than the T, though) andy -- / Andrew S. The T's likely to be faster than a cab or other road transportation during rush hour. BTW, someone said that you can take any trolley from Government Center. Just make sure it's going inbound/westbound (not outbound/northbound). ames >>>>>>>>> | Robert Krawitz <rlk@think.com> 245 First St. bloom-beacon > |think!rlk (postmaster) Cambridge, MA 02142 harvard >>>>>> .
