[comp.windows.x] Xsun dies when twm runs, used gcc 1.36 on sparc

I compiled the distribution with gcc 1.36 on sparc arch and
when I run twm, the server dies leaving the keyboard in a
state fixable by kbd_mode -a. Using a version of twm
compiled with cc does not help. However, using a version
of Xsun compiled with cc does seem to fix the problem.

Is currently the best thing to bring back up gcc 1.35 and
re-make World? Or is there something else? Thanks.
