About the availability of Xbooks- 1) The O'Reilly vols. 4 & 5 were shown in draft form at the ICS hospitaility suite at the Xconference. They have been drastically overhauled since the first cut at them, and should really be out very soon. They look promising (disclaimer: I reviewed 'em, but didn't write 'em). 2) The new Motif version of Doug Young's book was available through Quantum Books at the conference - they got them in Monday. Quantum is at One Kendall Square, Bldg 400, Cambridge, MA, 02139, and their phone number is 617/494-5042. They seem to carry a lot of good, up2date material. My only relationship with them is as a happy customer. If you can't find it locally, yet, check them out. 3) Draft copies of the first 4 chapters of Vol. 7 were also available at the XConference.
