[comp.windows.x] bug: Xlib XGetDefault

stumpf@lan.informatik.tu-muenchen.dbp.de (Markus Stumpf) (02/02/90)

There is a bug in XGetDefault() (i.e. mit/lib/X/XGetDflt.c)
Whilst trying to solve problems with XGetDefault() (doesn't return
anything other than NULL) I noticed, that in the #ifdef for
function-prototypes the order of name and prog is reverse to
those of the former releases and in the manual. The sample fix is
to exchange the two lines and evrything works fine.

Bug report is sent to expo.

Oups, it's X.V11R4, no patches, mVax II, Qvss monochrome, gcc-1.36

Another Warning: If zou use gcc add -fwritable-strings when compiling
libXmu or at least xfd will not work.
