I posted a request a while ago for the creation of net.games.board and everyone said that sufficient interest must be shown for its creation. Well, if you have been reading net.games, the facts should be obvious. People in that group have been agreeing that a split should be made in net.games; the group should be divided into net.games.board (for those who like board-type games) and net. games.comp (for those who like computer games). Such a division would be logical and useful for those who do not wish to wade through discussion of computer games to find to find articles on their favorite boardgame. The same opinion, of course, being true for the computer game enthusiast but for computer games. If such a split were made, the general group of net.games could be discarded as it would only be redundant. Any of you out there who have yet to voice your opinions on this, speak up, for the moderators are listening. Dan Gold ...ucbvax!ucdavis!minnie:ccrdan

Yes! I wholeheartedly support the effort to create net.games.board and net.games.comp. At the same time, perhaps net.games could be deleted , as most of the traffic would probably go to one of the other groups. -- --==---==---==-- ___________ _____ ---- _____ \ //---- IDIC ----- _\______//_ ---- ---------- ARPA: don@umd5.ARPA BITNET: don%umd5@umd2 SPOKEN: Chris Sylvain UUCP: {seismo,rlgvax,allegra,brl-bmd,nrl-css}!umcp-cs!cvl!umd5!don
