I wish to inquire about the possible use of an IBM PC-AT as a terminal for X windows. I have an ALR 386/20 with a modem that I can connect to many machines with. I was wondering if it is possible to get a X-window emulation program that I can use on my machine at home, and then call into another machine that supports X windows and use the system via a modem? I don't have the facilities to run a X-window server locally, and just wanted to know if I can use it in a terminal mode. Any help would be appreciated.... Thanx. Eric R.
