[comp.windows.x] Motif - User preferences window and text-editng package needed

1. Does anyone know of, or have, an application which works with Motif
and allows the user to set user preferences (like blink rate,
mouse-to-pointer gain, left- or right-handed mice ...) from 
a window rather than accessing xdefaults and other magic caves directly?

2. Does anyone know of, or have some little package which handles
verification/validation, editing, and pre-formatting of fields ('entry boxes')
in Motif?

Would appreciate if you cc-ed answers to   goran@funsys.se    even if
you post 'em on the bboard.
