I just retrieved fix2 from the xstuff mail server and got the following error when I tried to apply the patch: % cd (top of source tree) % patch -p0 < fix2 . . . -------------------------- | |*** /tmp/,RCSt1a21346 Wed Feb 7 18:47:41 1990 |--- mit/clients/xdm/Imakefile Wed Feb 7 18:47:28 1990 -------------------------- Patching file mit/clients/xdm/Imakefile using Plan A... Malformed patch at line 1475: $(SIGDEFS) $(DESDEFS) ConnectionFlags % (patch quits at this point) It turns out that line 1475 just needs to be re-joined with the previous line to make it work.
