Would anyone have a clue as to why the X11R4 Xsun -mono option causes a segmentation fault? The X11R4 server runs like a charm with the default options on a color monitor, but if I "xinit -- -mono" or "Xsun -mono" I get an immediate core dump. Here's (hopefully all) the pertinent facts from the imake config files used to build the X11R4 distribution, including the server, right out of the box: #define OSName SunOS 4.0.3 #define OSMajorVersion 4 #define OSMinorVersion 0 #define HasGcc YES /* Using gcc 1.35 */ #define UseSunWindowsInServer NO Here's what dbx tells me: dbx /usr/bin/X11/Xsun core Reading symbolic information... Is there any other information I could provide? Can anyone tell me what I can do to correct this?
