My off-the-wall theory is not that there's distortion in vote-tallying, but that a lot of the people who vote mean they want to *read* a newsgroup on that topic. But maybe they don't have anything to post, or at least not very often. L S Chabot ...decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-amber
