[comp.windows.x] dumb question

tiefel@kodak.UUCP (Lenny Tiefel) (02/20/90)

I hope that this isn't too stupid of a question;

but I have a simple, two-dimensional array, array[100][200].
for example,

	87 65...76 55
		.
		.
		.
	78 55...65 76

(array elements go from 0 to 255.);
and I'd like to use the X Window System to create a simple window
and display a density plot where code values are proportional
to the array elements. I want to use pure xlib--no tool kits.

Would someone have code to do this? I have X11,version 3
with a DECstation 3100.

Thanks.
