SunOS 4.0.3, 3/280, X11R4, fix 1, gcc 1.35, twm It appears that xtroff and xditview will not accept input from a pipe; ie, ditroff -ms file | xtroff causes xtroff to complain about the end of the file being reached before the end of the document. for xditview, the complaint is no file selected. this didn't happen for xtroff, at least, under R3. I sent in a bug report last week about xditview, but haven't heard back, and I just found the problem with xtroff. has anyone else seen this? any fixes? It appears that xtroff and xditview will not accept input from a pipe; xditview does accept piped input (it just isn't documented): ditroff -TX75 -ms file | xditview -
