[comp.windows.x] Questions about X11R4 on DECstation 3100

I have some questions about X11R4 (which I just installed)  on a 
DECstation 3100:


1.  In trying to use xconsole (so I don't get those anoying messages in
    root window), I've managed to get it running, but when I iconify
    it, it disappears from the twm icon manager window and from the
    "TwmWindows" menu.  I'd RTFM, but there doesn't seem to be any
    information about it in the directory.  Anyone know how to use
    this program?

2.  Has anyone fixed up xperfmon so that it runs under X11R4 on the
    DECstation?  The one I had for X11R3 runs, but I can't resize the
    window smaller and it seems to ignore the geometry (=XxY+x+y style)
    specification I give it.
