Here at NMSU I'm in the process of writing a front end for a network analyzing program. This is essentially a graphical guide to the network here, in a "zoom" approach; ie, top level view goes to local views, goes to building views, goes to machine views, etc. I was considering writing this in Hypercard on the Macintosh, since Hypercard essentially lets you set up this identical structure with cards, and (fairly) easily allows one to set up links, etc. However, Hypercard is a textbook definition of unportable. Now, this leads to my question; is there any sort of graphical relational database which can do this sort of thing availible under X? Thanks.... OH...I am NOT root@dante.nmsu.edu...we have a small bug in postnews.
