Well guess what. I've been hacking xfig 1.4.6 as well. This version has area-fill, pen-fill, multiple fonts, line-thickness, object stacking (what's on top of what), filled and v-arrows, arrow-sizes, selection and editing of multiple objects simultaneously, opaque and transparent off-dashes, opaque and transparent rectangles, hollow lines, compounds that auto-resize to form bounding boxes of contents. But I broke colour. Too many cooks spoil the broth. I'll put this somewhere publicly ftp'able. Anyone care to suggest a name? Currently I'm callin it xfig version 1.5, but with Brian's xfig version 2.0 out there, things could get very confusing. Maybe I'll use yax for Yet Another Xfig. We need someone to integrate all this, or rewrite it. Nigel Goddard
