Before I dive into the world of motif, can I clear up a vicious rumor. I have heard that Motif doesn't run under R4. Is that TRUE? If it needed a quick fix, does anyone know what the fix is? Once again, there is a difference between:
A) Motif doesn't run under R4.
B) OSF has not committed to make Motif 1.0 run on R4.
OSF has committed to the Motif 1.1 release using R4 Xlib and Intrinsics.
Note also that:
1) There are people running
Motif 1.0 toolkit + Motif 1.0 Xt + R3 Xlib on either R3 or R4 servers
2) There are people running
Motif 1.0 toolkit + Motif 1.0 Xt + R4 Xlib on either R3 or R4 servers
