Well, I may be new to the net in being able to post messages, but, I've had it already!! *Anyone* who sends a program request or a bug report, or a comment to net.sources is going to receive the following piece of mail: ------------- <*FLAME MODE ON*> Whoa!! I'm sick and tired of getting requests for things in the middle of net.sources!! So, *everyone* who posts a request for a driver or a program etc, is going to get one of these 'form' letters!! There is a newsgroup just for this purpose, it's called "net.wanted.sources"!! Request for such things as drivers, termcaps, programs go there, NOT IN net.sources!!! If you find a bug in a program posted to net.sources, that goes in "net.sources.bugs". Also, discussions do *NOT* belong in net.sources!! Take it to net.micro, or net.unix, or whatever group is appropriate for the topic. The reason being, a lot of system administrators archive net.sources, and they definitely do NOT need to archive requests as well!! Sorry but *I'VE HAD IT*!! <*FLAME OFF*> ------------ Who knows??
