I posted a message similar to this a week ago. We are running on a MIPS 2030 system and had been running X11R3.0. Our xdm-errors file had been written to by the server, continuously eating up MBs of disk space until we either restart xdm or delete the file. Yesterday I installed X11R3.1 and now the file is being written to a faster rate (every few seconds). The only difference is the message (which makes no sense to me!): WARNING: display granite:0 could not bshmget faishmget fails. errno is 2 canshmget faishmget fails, errno is 2 cannot mmap. shmget fails, errno is 2 (etc.) Anyone have any ideas what is going on here?
