Hi I am a visiting scientist working with the Programmer's Apprentice project. I am interested in the types of questions asked by users and how experts respond to them. Ultimately, I would like to develop a model to represent such knowledge in order to answer the same or similar questions semi-automatically. The Xpert mailing list should provide me with ample examples for study in the domain of window systems. I would dappreciate being added to the mailing list. Would it be possible to get hold of the archives of this list? Would it be possible to get the archives of comp.windows.x news group? Thanks very much. - Dilip Soni (NE43-804) (617) 253-4150 dilip@wheaties.ai.mit.edu Cc: dilip

I am going to be starting a port to the AT&T UNIXpc (aka 7300 or 3b1). Please advise if you know of other people doing a port for this machine or to SYSV machines which did not come with sockets. Thanks, John -- John Bly Milton IV, jbm@uncle.UUCP, n8emr!uncle!jbm@osu-cis.cis.ohio-state.edu (614) h:294-4823, w:764-2933; N8KSN, AMPR: 44.70.0.52; Don't FLAME, inform!

If it is anything different from comp.windows.x, that is. I am going to be porting X to the AT&T UNIXpc (aka 7300, 3b1). Don't laugh! Sorry for the posting, but my mail attempt bounced. Please add me to the xpert mailing list. I have done several server ports from the tape and have recently started my long overdue participation in usenet. Thanks.
