I like to know what sort of plotting packages are available for X11R3, public domain or otherwise. The main types of plotting are graphs (2D & 3D), contouring and surface plots. PS: So far I only saw the name xgraph mentioned but know nothing about it. Thanks in advance. ---- Patrick Tang Guan Yaw, Phone : +61 62 68 8882 Dept. of Mathematics, EMAIL-ARPA/CSNET : gyp@ccadfa.cc.adfa.oz.au ADFA, Canberra, 2600. Ncar (National Center for Atmospheric Research) now has support for X11. Ncar-3.0 is a fortran based package that can be used with either fortran or C. They support many devices other than X-windows. One of their strengths is in fact contouring. They have done a fairly good job of making the source buildable on a variety of machines (most SystemV to BSD).
