I have a window containing several text widgets, and under various circumstances I need the keyboard focus to be directed initially to a particular widget under control of the application (which I am not writing - I'm just writing them a Motif interface). I've tried XtSetKeyboardFocus() but: (a) I don't sufficiently understand why there are two parameters, although I have both set plausibly, and (b) if the target widget is not the first-created, text widget both the target widget and the first-created have blinking cursors when I re-enter XtMainLoop().
