[comp.windows.x] -sl switch for scrolling

"Steven_S._Kang.ESM8"@XEROX.COM (03/01/90)

All,
Can someone tell me how to set the -sl option in xterm so that there is no
limit on the number of scrolled-lines to be saved - to mimic Suntools
windows? Please send responses directly to me at "kang.esm8@xerox.com"

If you prefer the old SunView cmdtool, the XView toolkit source donation
includes an X11 version of cmdtool. See:

David,
here's a general view of what I'd get

>cc -c -g -I. -I. -I./config reload.c

We've got telephone support, so I'll call it in tomorrow (gotta
find the damn numbers and passwords).

A workaround, I think, is to run the compiler with -O2.
The code at least compiles, I haven't gotten the whole thing
together yet to see if it runs. I'm not a person for
compiler debugging (everytime I tried to take the class, the
instructor was out of town - Norway!)

Pretty packed for time right now. Will be out of town myself
next week and gotta tie things up.

Thanks,
Ken
