Sorry to trouble you all with old news, and thanks to those who responded to my last plea. I'm still out here building X11R3 on the Sparcstation 1. Those of you who suggested increasing the swap space for my last problem were correct, but now that that's done, there's a new bug later on... just after ranlib libos.a and cc -O -o Xsun ddx/sun/sunInit.o .././fonts/mkfontdir/fontdir.o ...lots of stuff... -lm -ldbm causes ld: Undefined symbol _alloca Any help on this one?
