A while back, there was a discussion about turning a DOS machine into an X terminal. I have IBM's x on dos, which I believe is similar to the one from Locus as their name comes up on the screen also. However, the only manual I received was a readme file. When I connect to a host via telnet and start xterm and logout I see telnet - socket reset flash up on the screen and then nothing. But I can login from else where and display to the PC? Someone once suggested doing a nohup or sleep before xterm but I have since lost this information. The only was I can turn on (telnet and come back to have Xterm display) the envt. is to telnet in an run an 'at time ...'. This works ok, but is not what the readme file said! Also, I have noticed that when things seem to freeze!, if I hit the esc or num-lock key, things start to work again?? I have NO DOCS!!! Can anyone shed some light on this product? By the way, executing the xterm command above works fine for an IBM RT but not for any of our SUNS. /*----------- Thanks in advance... --------------------------------------+ | Peter C.
