I've altered xman to use the compressed manual format the HP-UX uses
(i.e. /usr/man/man1.Z contains files needing to be uncompressed first).
If anyone is interested in it send me e-mail and I send you the diffs.
It will also look in section 1m for sys admin commands instead of 8.

All of these features have been incorporated into xman version 3.1.4 which is on the R4 tape (I think). I added support for all the compressed formats that I could find, even the brain-dead HP-UX way of doing them. It sure would be nice if everyone had the same format for man pages... Chris D.
