I have finally got round to trying out Honeyman's pathalias, which was posted recently, on the uucp map data that was posted at the beginning of August. Each site data file causes pathalias to say "file: syntax error at line 1" I extracted the data using ar and then ran it through awk using the expand script that was also distributed. The files all look pretty reasonable. Since I haven't seen any other complaints I presume this must be "driver error" but I can't see what I'm doing wrong. It looks like pathalias doesn't like the "=" at the start of each of the first few lines. I took a look at the parser but am not familar enough with yacc to understand what's going on.
