One reason why some sites at U of T are in no hurry to convert to 2.10.2
is that we have learned -- the hard way -- that any new version of news
must be checked for all the bugs we've fixed in the older versions. Even
if we've reported the bugs (and the fixes) for all to behold, it does not
guarantee that they've been fixed in the new release. I have not yet
checked 2.10.2, so I don't know whether this carelessness has stopped,
but it significantly increases our estimate of how long it's going to
take to put 2.10.2 up.
If you've wondered why utzoo -- a backbone site -- is still running 2.10
(not even 2.10.1), this is why: it's a lot of work checking it all out,
and we're busy.
