grp@magpie.unify.uucp (Greg Pasquariello) (04/07/90)
I have recently begun experiencing a problem where my rgb.dir file
(in /usr/lib/X11) will sometimes get loaded with the message:
"Binding MSB TCP socket: address already in use"
When this happens, any attempt to start up X will result in some
"unable to allocate colormap entry" messages, and I get white text
on a white background.
Can anyone tell me what's going on? What the heck is this file used
for? I am running X11R3 on a Sun SparcStation.
Thanks in advance
-Greg
