I found binaries for a drawing program called "idraw" on a machine at Stanford last night, and I was wondering if there is a man page and/or source available for this program. Thanks, Arul -- INTERNET: arul@sdsu.edu work: (619) 594-7207 UUCP: ....!ucsd!sdsu!arul home: (619) 583-0439

It's in the InterViews distribution. The following was extracted from the announcement file. ------------------ Version 2.5 of InterViews is now available. You can obtain it via anonymous ftp from interviews.stanford.edu (IP addr = 36.22.0.175). The full distribution is in "InterViews/2.5.tar.Z". A distribution without g++ is in "InterViews/iv-2.5.tar.Z". I have created a publicly writable "InterViews/contrib" directory where people can put applications and extensions. You can also obtain the distribution by sending a "stamped, self-addressed" tape (Sun, TK50, or 1/2-inch) to Mark Linton Center for Integrated Systems, Room 213 Stanford University Stanford, CA 94305 -- /--------------------------------------------------------------\ |Jeff Michaud michaud@decwrl.dec.com michaud@decvax.dec.com| |DECnet-ULTRIX #include <standard/disclaimer.h> | \--------------------------------------------------------------/

It is a really nice "macdraw-like" drawing package that runs under X. It was written in C++ but will compile with g++ if you have interviews installed. If not, maybe thats what the binary is for! The key-board accelerator commands (yes, the control keys) go dead after about 5 or 10 minutes in the idraw environment. I am running X11R4 on a microvax-II (MACH O.S.). Is that a problem with my installation or is it a bug in idraw ? Thanks Ramesh ---------------- vcr@cs.cmu.edu
