Could someone please send me the free software called Motif or tell me where I can get it by anonymous ftp, maybe gatekeeper.dec.com? I would prefer source, but the shared libraries for a Sun 3 and a SparcStation and the header files would be adequate. Joe Konczal "May the Source be with you."

The members of the Open Software Foundation sell it as a product. You can buy the source for approximately $1000. The intention is that vendors will buy the source and build it on their hardware and then sell/give it to their customers for a lesser price. If you read back through previous message on comp.windows.x you will see plenty of messages about Motif. In fact, this is the right point to plus the Frequently Asked Questions message.
