To any DECstation experts: I've recently started writing X software under Xt using the Xw widget set on a DECstation 3100 (running X11R3) and have run into a problem that I can't seem to find a way around. Apparently, DEC has modified the Xlib or Xt library code such that client programs start up without the ability to obtain the keyboard focus via the usual window manager procedure of just clicking on the window. To date, I haven't found a way of forcing the keyboard focus to my application except via the Dwt widgets and we've decided that we don't want to use them. Has anyone figured a way around this quirk of the 3100? Any help would be much appreciated. Randy Heuer att!pancho!grh
