The X protocol book description of GetImage says that if the drawable arg to GetImage is a window, the window must be viewable. Following the description further I am a little unclear on whether this should be the case regardless of whether the window has backing store or not. It would be useful to be able to get that information regardless of the map state of the window. Clarifications ? Suggestions ?
