Just out of curiosity...has anybody gotten a version of X.windows running on an IBM-AT clone or a 386 PC? Using what kind of graphics board and mouse? Also, what version of Unix? Greg Corson 19141 Summers Drive South Bend, IN 46637 (219) 277-5306 (weekdays till 6 central)

A few days back I posted a message asking if anyone had X.windows on a PC/AT or 80386-PC. I forgot to mention one thing...I was looking for a version of X that ran on an AT running UNIX (ie: Microport, Xenix...etc.) Thanks to those who sent info on X running under MS-DOS...but I really wanted info on X running under some form of UNIX on an AT or 80386 PC. Hey everyone! Does anyone know if Xwindows can be run on a PC? If it does, I am wondering about size and speed. If it does exist, who could I contact? Thanks, Steve Magnuson National Semiconductor
