I am having a problem building X on our SGI (4D/240) (I've had successful builds
on our Suns and DECs). When doing a "make World" I get the following error:
making imake with BOOTSTRAPCFLAGS=
cc -o ccimake -O ccimake.c
cc -o imake -O imake.c `./ccimake`
mv Makefile Makefile.bak
make -f Makefile.bak Makefile
./config/imake -I./config -DTOPDIR=. -DCURDIR=.
cpp: error 4: missing endif
./config/imake: Exit code 1. Stop.
*** Error code 1
Appending -v to imake yeilds the following info:
./config/imake -I./config -DTOPDIR=. -DCURDIR=. -v
cpp -I. -Uunix -I./config -DTOPDIR=. -DCURDIR=.
cpp: error 4: missing endif
./config/imake: Exit code 1. Stop.
Question: Is there a patch that will cure this problem? Where should I look
for the missing endif? Any hints from those out there who have
built R4 successfully on an SGI?
Thanks
