In reply to Mr. mcsun!tdatirv!swf and any body else listening .... (whats yer name chuck?) Thanks for the reply to : Q. Are there any other window managers in the public domain A. Yes, there is on called olwm, which gives (almost) the same interface as NeWS It is available on the UUNET archives as: ~ftp/X/contrib/XView/olwm.tar.Z and ~ftp/X/contrib/XView/olgx.tar.Z Could you please give me a mailserver address since as far as I know the only access to these archives is via ftp (which I am told is some kind of ethernet connection). But I've never seen one before (ftp - F***ing terrible place!, i.e where I work .... No but seriously folks) and would'nt know how to behave in the presence of one. Also (lots of groveling here and general tugging of the forelocks) any chance of the two founts?? -sun-open look gyph-* -sun open look cursor-* plus notes for the "source code change to olwm" ******** I would gladley mortgage my house and sell my family into slavery for olwm (and if I can convince my manager to let me buy an extra 4Meg for my 3/50 I'd sell me self! ... a Sun Slc now that would require unmentionable.) ******** (I've emailed this as well, but I'm not sure If it will find its way!) .
