I know this was covered a little while ago, but I missed most of it and mail bounced from all of the addresses I copied from the few messages I saw. I'm trying to find a way to display a scanned image (currently in sun rasterfile format) in an X window. I need to display the image, and then be able to have the window return a point when the user clicks on it somewhere. Anyone figured out any easy way to do this? Any help at all will be appreciated, as I am completely new to both image processing and X. X and the athena widget set I'm starting to get a handle on, but I still don't really know where to begin with displaying the image. Documentation in this area seems particularly thin. Also, I'm trying as much as possible to use the Athena widgets as a base for the program. Thanks again. -- ----------------------------------- Bill Patterson pattersw@turing.cs.rpi.edu Computer Science Department Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Troy, NY. -----------------------------------
