I am in need of a facility for examining the requests and responses sent to and from an X Server (a buggy one at that!). Under R3 xscope worked fine and I used it for finding various things .. however it wont compile under R4 ... lots of underfined routines. So, has anybody had the time to pull xscope up to R4 (and architectures other than a Sun 3) or are there other methods for monitoring the requests to a server?
