Presently I am looking for information of what constitutes complete character sets for the following languages: Cyrillic Polish Bulgarian Romanian Yugoslavian Hungarian Czechoslovakian Armenian Farsi Estonian Lithuaian Latvian Ukranian I am also curious if there are standards for the keyboard layouts for these languages. I would be interested in any books, standards, etc. that exist for these languages/keyboard mappings. Most of the languages you cite are covered by the ISO 8859 family of character sets, as well as the ISO 6937 family. You will find a table which summarizes the use of Latin alphabetic characters in 41 different languages in ISO 6937/2-1983. Sorry, I don't know about documents giving keyboard layouts.
