I am forwarding some questions for someone who doesn't have access to the
net. I would be grateful if anyone could answer any of them.
Each question can refer to standard or extended X.
(1) Could any of the following be implemented directly using X
libraries: retouching, airbrushing, rotation, arbitrary
transformation?
(2) Is there any support for masking arbitrary bitmaps (in arbitrary
modes - AND OR XOR &c.)
(3) If yay for (1) or (2), what is the performance like?
(4) Are non-X bitmap formats supported?
(5) Does X deal only with bitmaps, or does it keep info on paths &c.?
