Thanks. > > > Kathy Grant It sounds like you're putting the libraries under /usr/lib/X11R4 or X11R4/lib, instead of /usr/lib. If that's so, you may have to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable appropriately (see manual on 'ld' & Sun manual on shared libraries). Also, did you run 'ldconfig'?
