From man xterm: >X DEFAULTS > The program understands all of the core X Toolkit resource > names and classes as well as: > > ... > > pointerShape (class Cursor) > Specifies the name of the shape of the pointer. The > default is ``xterm.'' ... and the only other one that seems to work is ``arrow''. Is it possible to get any of the other cursors from the Cursor Font to work as the xterm pointerShape, or am I just misguided? (I would love to have ``gumby'' :-) Thanks, Ian Rogers Poplog Applications Janet/Arpa: ianr@uk.ac.susx.cogs | School of Cognitive Science uucp: ..!mcvax!ukc!cogs!ianr | Sussex University, Falmer, voice: +44-(0)273-606755 x2392 | Brighton, England. is there any way to have my xterm cursor flash? I've got an application which has some inverse fields (dbman V) and sometimes it is difficult to locate the cursor. advaTHANXnce. -k -- =============================================================================== Kevin P.
