A consultant and software developer who was giving a demonstration of a software package running on a Sparcstation at a SUN demo center for a client that purchases large numbers of workstations was informed by the SUN people that it was against SUN policy to allow his application to be demonstrated there, because it used Motif. Perhaps workstations wars have a new battleground in GUI wars? But such actions by SUN make about as much public relations sense as the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. -gjc
