I am considering the purchase of a used 386/33Mhz Compaq IBM compatible. Included in the deal is AT&T Unix. I need this system to support X11 and Motif so I am considering ftp'ing the X source and purchasing the Motif source (ya, $1000 bucks ugh). How many days can I expect to spend getting all this source code compiled and running? What problems may I encounter? I would really appreciate any advice from those who have done this activity themselves. If there is enough interest, I'll post a summary to the net. Thanks much! Phillip E.
