[comp.windows.x] Information wanted on X/MOTIF hw/sw.

The company for which I am working is currently considering porting its
software from a dedicated SW/HW user interface environment to an open system .


I would be grateful for all information concerning :

  - Suppliers of UNIX/ X/ MOTIF workstations.

  - Whether MOTIF is the only 'sensible' X-Window environment.

  - If there exist any recommendable O-O environments, tools or UIMS ( user
    interface management systems ) for X/Motif which support extensive 2D 
    graphics and process animation.
