I'm trying to compile X11R4 on a Sparc running 4.0.3. After running into/fixing various small problems, I've run against the following bugaboo: ld.so: libXmu.so.4: not found From what I can tell, the file it should be looking for is libXmu.so.4.0, which exists. Thanks for the help, suggesting that I read the "Most asked questions..." but I ran into the "ld.so: libXmu.so.4: not found" while still trying to build the system, not run it! Oh well. I've eventually gotten around it... David rush@cacfs.army.mil
