Help needed with hpwm.exe for VAX! We've picked up a copy of the alternate window manager hpwm.exe for our VAXStations that looks more like motif than the Usual window manager. It is supposed to read a file hpwm.rc for definitions prior to starting. We have at least 2 problems: 1) The hidden windows cannot be pulled to the top without closing and then opening them if the window manager is started via boot. 3) The .RC file seems to be ignored? If we take the kamikaze approach of spawing the hpwm and killing our current window manager we can bring up covered windows but not if we just boot with hpwm. Strange? Anybody have experience/documentation to help us straighten it out? ps- The hpwm seems to be a "faster" manager than the DEC standard version.
