[comp.windows.x] Experiences with XView?

Can anyone tell me about his experiences with XView?
I want to create a graphic-environment on a Sun-4 to an existing program
and would like to know if XView is the right tool for doing this with regard to
the fact that I'm no C-expert.

Thanks to all who answered my request concerning experiences with
XView.
