I post this article to find out if there is a browsing tool like the one used in 'xman' available (e.g. as in 'xterm' with a file as argument). My need is a window to display some (formatted) text, with the scrolling etc. done for me. As you might gather, we don't have any manuals on XToolkit here, so to avoid some serious hacking (?), I hope some of you might help me out with this. Thanks, Arnar (arnar@cs.hw.ac.uk)

On the X11r4 tape you will find contrib/clients/xless. The top of the README file says: :This is Xless : : "A file Browsing tool for the X Window System Version 11 Release 3" It supports multiple windows, search, and can fire up an editor at the touch of a button.
