[comp.windows.x] mwm question

How can I tell mwm not to place an icon in the icon box for a particular
application, like xclock?

Thanks,
Tim

You can't. Mwm creates an icon for all regular clients. BUT, if
you really really really really really really want this behavior,
you can modify the xclock source to create the window with the
override_redirect attribute set to true. Mwm will not decorate or
	make icons for override_redirect windows.
