To summarise; personally I only found two of the above systems
interesting namely UIMX from HP and TeleUse from TeleSoft. To choose
between them is difficult, and may depend on the HW that you have.
I have so far not made a choice, and would recommend a closer
look and demo of both systems.
The other systems has not been closely evaluated
for the following reasons:
Builder Xcessory (ICS) : I did not have the address.
ExoCode/SXM (Expert Object) : I did not get a reply on my fax.
XBUILD (Nixdorf) : Nixdorf-Norway did not have a running demo in Norway
but promised to get one ( although I have not
heard from them yet ).
VUIT (DEC) : "How do you know about VUIT ??"
"It is not ready for release yet."
XFaceMaker (Non-Standard Logics): I did not get a reply on my fax.
NOTE: This is *not* intended as an objective evaluation of the UIMS
marked, only a personal ( and maybe biased ) listing
of events.
Furthermore I have only made contact at the first address
where 2 or more addresses are listed for an UIMS.
And *please* do *not* send flame mail because of unfair
or inaccurate evaluation or bad spelling as this
was not intended.
